A narwhal is a whale that typically lives around the arctic, much like the oceanic version of the unicorn. rare for some a lot of people to see depending on location, these medium sized whales actually have a single horn, which they utilize of course when necissary. Not quite your average type of whale that's for sure lol!

Yes, I don't know anyone who's never heard of a narwhal, but I did once hear a girl ask "Which ones are real, unicorns or sea horses?" !!!
Also, quite a few of my friends didn't believe in seahorses until I showed them photos!

Its a whale with a huge like horn thing on its head right.
Like an underwater unicorn? xDD
The only reason I know what it is, is because when I was younger I used to play this underwater animals game on the computer.
And I had to do things with the narwhal.
Me & my friends used to play that ABC game where you take turns naming an animal with the order of the ABCs.
(ex. A-Alligator B-Bear C-Cat D-Donkey ETC)
When it was my turn and we'd get to "N" I'd say narwhale & everybody used to be like WTF is that?? xD

I have actually seen some. I live in Alaska, and they show up quite often. The male has a long, twisting tusk which actually resembles a unicorn's horn (fictitious creature). They truly are marvelous creatures, and amazing to watch.

It is an arctic whale. Since nobody lives in the arctic unless they traveled there, or learned it from someone who did, they would not know about them.
