What kind of vehicle do you drive?
I am curious because my hubby has been recently looking into trading in our 2006 saturn vue for something with 4 wheel drive. So now the whole idea has got me looking into new suvs with 3rd row seats. We only have one child now, but want another two in the next few years.
What do you drive?
Do you like what you drive?
Would you change what you drive? If yes what would you get?
What 3rd row vehicle do you like best?
Thanks

I bought a Toyota Sienna last year when we started planning our family. I would recommend it to anyone. First of all, because you can get it in AWD,(not all vans have that option) which is important for me because i live in a state with horrible winter conditions. Also, the third row, for future family building, and the convenience of seats. It has 2 removable captains seats, automatic doors (which I LOVE), and the third row folds down into the deep trunk. The trunk is awesome, and the third row going down is great for trips and bikes in the back. I nanny, and even before having my own child, this car has been amazing with the kids. They love it, it is more spacious than the other vans, and it was reasonably priced for what we got. My husband also likes it...in case you need to please him to. : ) He wanted us to have the best, and that's what he chose. There is always the option for more technologies, like dvd players, auto close trunk, gps, back up camera, etc. We didn't get those, but I splurged for the automatic doors. All I can say is that a person will never appreciate those as much unless they have kids. Also, I wanted a van because SUV's are too hard for me and the kids to get into. Unless you want to help lift them all the time. Also, a lot of SUV's, you have to move a seat or put one down to let the kids in the back. Which, with a car seat in the front for an infant, I think it's better to have a car which you don't need to do that. That way they can all climb in on one side, instead of having to put one child in, then go to the other side to let the other children in. I hope this was a helpful answer, and I do hope you are pleased with your future vehicle. Good luck, and enjoy your car shopping!

I drive a 2006 Jeep Commander. I love the vehicle as a vehicle. I only have one child though and there is one thing that I would possibly consider a different veh when we have another one. You can't fit a rear facing carseat in the back directly behind a front seat. There isn't enough room unless the front seat is all the way up to the dash. We have to put our infant seat in the middle. That is fine with one baby, but if you have 2 or 3 it would depend on how old they are and what kind of seat they have to be in. It's not 4 wheel drive, but you can get all wheel drive minivans which is probably what I will do if I have another child.

I don't drive- I haven't bothered to get my licence yet! My husband is greedy though and we have two cars at the moment- a Toyota Forerunner and a Toyota Crown which is his do-up project.
I like the forerunner but because I am used to the height of an offroad vehicle I'm not fussed on the crown.
If we where to change we'd probably buy a Sanyong Rexton or Kyron or a Mitsubishi outlander.
If the Mitsubishi Grandis was an offroad vehicle that's what we'd get- but it is no good for the terrain we travel over even though it is a very comfortable car!
Why are you looking into a 4wd? I feel they are a waste of money if you never go off road. The Mitsubishi grandis is has a very roomy third row, is fairly cheap and has a good safety rating (My mother in law owns one) It has the added benefit of looking like neither a minivan or a 4wd as well.

I currently have a nissan Altima but we are getting ready to trade it for a Toyota Sienna. They come with All Wheel Drive but we aren't going to need it since they also have Front Wheel Drive and as long as their is weight in the front it will keep traction on slippery surfaces. We are going to get an 8-passenger which has a removable middle seat in the second row if we have more children. It is ideal for 3 car seats so we won't have use for the third row until we have a fourth child.

I am 19 and drive an 04 Chevy Equinox...I LOVE it!! It drives so well...The only thing i would change is i wish it had a sunroof...but when my mom bought it new they didn't have sunroofs in them...Right now i don't want to change...I babysit alot and it has plenty of room in the back seat for all the kids as long as i don't have more than 3 with me which hardly ever happens... :) um...as far as 3rd row i like the honda odessey but i'm not sure if it has 4 wheel drive...i really don't like the ford excursion...its WAY too big..i drove my aunts one time and it doesn't turn very easily..its also REALLY hard to park..

A Toyota Solara, we loved it when we got it, but now that we have a child, it is horrible! It is a two door so I must climb in the back seat to put her in her carseat. It is also a horrible vehicle for living in Iowa, not good in the snow. We would like to get an SUV, something safe w/ 4 wheel drive for our crazy winters.

I drive a Volvo XC90 (SUV) with 3rd row seating and AWD
I love my car, and it is super safe and drives great
Not sure, I'm happy with my car
Volvo XC-90 =)
Good luck with your search!
Ps. My friend drives a Toyota 4Runner with 3rd row seats and it is nice too. Also, I used to drive a Ford Explorer, which was a great car for the price. I would recommend both of these SUV's as well.

I drive a Ford Focus.
I like it, it's pretty easy to drive and it gets fairly good gas milage.
I would change what I drive for a Toyota Prius cuz it gets way better milage. But it's so pricy.
the only vehicle that I would pick with a 3rd row is a minivan.

I force a minivan. No there is not any different motor vehicle i'd somewhat force at present i like having the gap necessary for me and my family individuals. whilst my toddlers are older I plan on getting a Jeep Cherokee which became my first motor vehicle. i don't even choose to force. i assume if I did my answer would be distinctive.

2005 Toyota Camry.
It's ok. It's nice and it runs. No I wouldn't change anything.
I want a Nissan Murano or an Armada, I am hoping to get it sometime in October. Next month we have to much money going out. Its my birthday and Colten's.
The Armada has 3rd row seats.
