Packer fans - I guess you would've been happy if GB did the same thing as the Cardinals?

Arizona spent a #1 pick on Matt Leinart. Kurt Warner came in and sat the kid down. Now Leinart is making #1 pick money to hold Warner's jock.

So, Packers fans, would you have been happier to see Rodgers rot away to nothing (like Leinart) just to keep Favre in a Packer uniform?

Favre was over the hill even when he was still at the packers. His turnovers and inconsistent games became the norm. Its a shame to see a guy play until he embarrasses himself or gets hurt.

Good point, the difference is Arizona wants to win now & isn't worried about what is going to happen 5 years from now. Warner like Favre is a superbowl winner & former MVP. He's past his prime like Favre but is better than his replacement like Favre.

Arizona is on the map & a contender with their good decisions & Green Bay is not on the radar & is a pretender & the only reason they won't finish in last in the NFC north is because the Lions are in the division. Another below .500 season this year around 4-12 to 6-10. Favre & the Vikings 10-6 to 12-4 NFC north champs & a contender to go to the Superbowl!!!!!

No. Last years stats proved that Rodgers is currently better than Favre. Most of the Packers loses were put on the defense. Favre's days are over.

Rodgers has already shown the potential to become a great QB in his own right, call me crazy, but I think Green Bay will compete for the division this year, Minnesota and Chicago are not locks by any means

I'm not a Packer fan myself, but I think he should've retired in 2006. Since then, he's really not been worth much.

As a Lions fan, I am very happy that he is not in Green Bay anymore.
