Is Rin [Naruto] ever showed/talked about in the anime?

I watched all the episodes up until about 195 and then my friends told me to just skip to Shippuden. Was Rin ever explained during the last episodes before the time skip?

She is in Naruto Shippuden in the Kakashi Gaiden arc.

She is also mentioned after the Hokage dies and Kakashi is at the grave of the fallen shinobi thing and mention there that he still thinks about Rin and Obito but nothing more mentioned about them.

She appeared in Kakashi Gaiden on Naruto Shippuuden episode 119-120.

She was never showed in Naruto and was never specifically talked about either. You should watch Naruto Shippuuden 119 - 120 if you want to learn about her. Don't worry, it doesn't conflict with the main plot in Shippuuden. It's like a flashback of Kakashi.

Sakura, she doesn't deserve Naruto or anyone. She beats him up like c**p,she's a hormonal b***h,and she can die alone. Really,Sakura knew tht Hinata loves Naruto, but Sakura goes and confesses her FAKE love, meaning she doesn't love Naruto, just trying to force herself to love Naruto. Really Sakura,I'm glad you don't love Naruto, you'd anything Sasuke told you, ex. trying to kill Karin. And Ino is not useless, she freaken helped Shikamaru,Chouji, and Kakashi fight Hidan and Kakuzu, and they won, with the help of Naruto. And at less Ino never considered Naruto a monster or annoying, aka Sakura. I support NaruHina It Will Happen, read Masashi Kishimoto interveiws.
