don't read, that would make u dizzy. listen to music, if u own a dvd player, take it with u. if u own a laptop, go online now and download all the movies u like but dont own on cd's, pillows, blankets, fav food.

i think that the movies will take up alot of ur time, if u watch 4 movies, then more than 6 hours are gone, listen to music for 2, sleep for 3, eat for 1, 3 hrs talking to people, time's gone!

    enjoy the trip :D

If reading in the car doesn't make you sick, you could bring a couple of novels (not schoolwork, something fun that you'd like to read). you might try reading a comic book in the car if regular writing makes you sick; some people don't get nauseous reading comics in the car, for some reason...

Or if reading is not your thing, you might still find the answer at the library; The local ones where i live have full seasons of tv shows on dvd you can borrow. If you have a video player in the car, that would take care of the boredom right there.

Aside from that, you might try talking to your family; i know it sounds crazy, but Once you're out on your own, you might find that you wished you'd spent more time getting to know them.

I hope you have a good trip, no matter how you pass the time!

When I go on road trips I always bring my ipod. In my opinion for music that will keep you in a good mood; Mayday Parade, Thee Armada, 3Oh!3, Lady Gaga, etc.

    I would bring magazines.

If you're in to style and stuff get 17mag.

I would also bring a book like Twilight or something of that sort.

Don't forget your phone; text lots of people that you don't normally talk to.

Camera. I don't know what kind of girl you are but most girls enjoy taking pictures of themselves. Besides maybe you can get a few family and roadside shots.

If you have any homework...take it. I know that sounds gay but you've got nothing else to do right?!

So there you go. :) Take whatever you think will entertain you the most!

P.S. just ignore everyone. iPods are a genius thing. :D

    Have fun!

Okay if you have a laptop, the sims can make your trip go by quite fast.

and if you have an mp3 or whatever or you wanna buy a few cds i LOVE-

    paramore

    we the kings

    katy perry

    britney spears

    some of my chemical romance

    lil wayne

    some of demi lovato

    taylor swift

    breathe carolina

    30h!3

    aly and ajs cd-insomniatic

thats all i can think of right off the bat..

Oh and idk if your into twilight because not many people are anymore.

But books my ellen hopkins*not sure about the name* are AMAZING!

    she has:

    crank

    burned

    glass

    impulse

glass is the sequel to crank..

these books may look a little big but its really big font and they are spaced out quite a lot!

I really think you should read crank or burned.

    I got hooked to it.

Its basically about teenagers and tragedies that happen to them because they dont have a very stable family...and so they start doing drugs,or they fall in love with a guy their parents dont approve of.

    They are so good!

and bring a few good movies

Honestly, if you find a good book to read, that can keep you occupied FOREVER. I read a book a few months back and I got half way through it in one night and that took up 4 hours.

If you want some good music to listen to, these are some of my favorites:

    Cobra Starship

    3OH!3

    Taking Back Sunday

    The Audition

    Eric Hutchinson

    Everybody Else

    Midtown

    The All-American Rejects

    The Maine

    Breathe Carolina

    ...and sooo many more!

if you have an mp3 player, i would suggest putting breathe carolina and nightcore on it. all the songs you can find (ares, limewire, etc) and also, sleeping is prolly one of the most time consuming things to do on road trips. also, take a few books, maybe some travel games, if you have any siblings or anyone else that would like to play. umm. . . . if you take any movies along, you want to try and take comedies, cuz driving/riding creates boredom and stress, and comic relief is greatly needed, so you dont want to be watching a drama or action movie while on the road.

overall, the thing that always got me through is poppin' headphones on and crashin' for most of the time.

oh, also, if you have a cell phone, then text away! and if ure friends get annoyed, try cha cha (242-242) they have lots of fun things to do.

    i hope i helped

    read

crossword puzzles, and other games like that

I used to play tetris on my cellphone

Plus, cargames with the other passengers are really fun:

name an actress...u can play with 2 or more people....whoever runs out of ideas first, loses. Example: Player 1 says "Miley Cyrus" Player 2 says "Drew Barrymore" and so on.

    OR name an actor

OR name a state, country, rockband, comedy-movie, whatever topics you can think of.

OR recite lines from movies and you have to guess what movie it's from.

sing a song and u have to guess the song, OR the movie it's from, OR the band who sings it.

Anything like that can be really fun and can pass the time.

If you have a laptop, at some point, you could use it and play games or something. Bring your iPod along. If you like to read, bring a book. If you like to write, bring a notepad and pen. I always bring a coloring book and a "travel" Sorry game so I can play with somebody. If you have a portable DVD player, stock up on DVDs and watch them in the car. XD

    1. watch a whole series, like star wars or harry potter, on an ipod or psp or something

    2. call your friends

    3. animal crossing

    4. psp/ds (personally the ds is way better but psp plays vids)

    5. sing a cheery song

    6. long generic playlist set on repeat

    7. sleep

    8. read

    9. count rednecks

    10. pretend to call a boyfriend and make the car awkward

    11. ponder the mysteries of life.

    12. mario games

    13. bring 50 bags of m&m's and eat one every 30 seconds and it will last the whole way.

    14. i didn't want to end on 13 so um... draw?

  • I hope you have an iPod and no siblings. You could always play the game where you go thru the alphabet finding billboards with the next letter or look for doubles on licence plates so that you can punch the person next to you.
