Problem with cable modem?

My modem is only lighting up the Power and PC lights, but the Cable, Send, and Receive lights will not light up. I have tried to unplug and replug to no avail. My internet connection isn't working as a result of this. What do I need to do?

There could be a connection issue with the cable modem trying to reach the ISP in the cable company. You should contact them and request assistance on fixing the connection issue. It could also be a problem with your splitter if you have one going from the main feed to a 2-6 port splitter that could be faulty. May need a booster added.

Call the company who gave you the modem.

They will test it to see if it works. If you need a new modem, they will give you a new one at a cost.
