Help with a math problem! I have to write an equation for the revenue "R" derived from t hours of use.?

A contractor purchases a piece of equipment for $36,500 that uses an average of $9.25 per hour for fuel and maintenance. The equipment operator is paid $ 13.50 per hour and customers are charged $ 30 per hour.

    The Revenue part is easy

    Revenue = price times quantity. Quantity for this problem is time

    so Revenue R = 30 times time so R= 30t .

    You probably have to move forward from this, however and

    calculate profit. Profit = Revenue - Cost.

    Post if that is indeed the case and we will add additional information, for obtaining profit

    Let us say that f=the number of hours for fuel and maintenance. Then e=the number of hours the equipment operator works. And finally c=how many hours he works for his customers.

    R=30t-13.50e-9.25f-36500

    Hope this is what you're looking for.
