Which Canadian city is the best to visit?
What city in Canada would be good to visit out of Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto, and Quebec City? I don't know much about any of them, and it would be my first time in Canada.

Toronto is a very diverse city both culturally and in terms of the attractions and activities it has to offer. Many of these attractions are located in the downtown area, making them extremely easy to visit. Visiting downtown toronto gives you the advantage of accessing all of these exciting activities as well as work and amenities within the distance of a short walk, subway, or streetcar ride.Have a safe trip.

In Montreal , you can go shopping , you can go to the under ground city , it is very nice downtown in montreal , there are niec amusement parks , and you can also visit the montreal canadien stadium .
In Vancouver , there are tons of things to do , on of my favourite's is go celebrity seeking lol , there are tons and tons and tons of celebrity's in vancouver , and they are usually shooting movies !
In Toronto there is the hockey hall of fame , Royal Ontario Museum , The air canada centre , which is where the concerts are played , and the toronto maple leafs play .
In quebec city , there is the Sugar shack , lots of tourism , and other things too .
But my most favourite place of all time's would be niagara falls , that would be a have to visit kind of place , It is beautiful the falls !! You can go on the maide of the mist which takes on the water and right beside the falls ! If you go to to niagara falls , go to cliffton hill , that is where all the fun is , on cliffton hill you will find ripley's beleive it or not , 4-D movie theatres , Rain forest cafee , and much more , that is my most favourite place in canada , is niagara falls , and they have a huge carasel . There is a casino i niagara falls , The skylawn tower , Indoor water parks and hotels , The bird kingdom , and the butterfly conservatory , i think if you go to canada niagara falls is a must see !

My rankings:
1st Toronto - the largest city in Canada and the most multicultural(possibly the world). About 80 international neighborhoods live side by side.
2nd Quebec City - Lots of European architecture...in fact you could convince someone you were in Europe. Lots of history and culture.
3rd - Vancouver - 3rd largest city in Canada and will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. It's a good city and has a huge Chinese population but in my opinion, I don't see anything that really stands out.
4th Montreal - Similar to Quebec but people are a bit rude.

Definatly go the west. The mountains are very beautiful! You should definatly visit Vancouver. It's a beautiful city there is so much to do! There are so many nice places to just walk around like Stanley park,Chinatown etc. Go up to the Vancouver lookout for amazing views of the city, mountains and waterfront. Also visit the Metrotown mall in Burnaby. Also make sure you visit Victoria and go to the butchart gardens and also take the trip up to the town of Whistler. If you have time I would suggest renting a car and driving to both Edmonton and Calgary as well. West Edmonton mall has alot to do it has an indoor amuesement park, water park and over 800 stores. The city of Edmonton has lots of good shopping not just at the mall but around the city. If you visit Calgary make sure to go to the Calgary tower for views of the city, surrounding plains as well as the mountains in the distance. Also be sure to visit the Calgary zoo.

If you want a bit of everything (shopping, site seeing, historic places etc) I would say Toronto, they have amazinggg malls, the CN tower, lots of musuems
There is also a theme park just outside of toronto called Canada's Wonderland, it is massive, it has over 60 adult rides and a full waterpark definitly check that out .
Also, from toronto you can go to Niagara falls (tons of attractions there) and go to Ottawa as well :)

Wikipedia or, better yet, Wikitravel.
No one can truly answer your question except you as your question does not provide enough information about such things as what you like. Do you like mountains? Old churches?

i would say montreal because it has french, and british influence, but to be honest, i wouldnt recomend visiting canada. there is just nothing appealing about the entire country, unless youre into asian stuff like bubble tea, or asian pool halls, and food, i wouldnt waste my time. or if you just want to go and practice your french.
