What pitcher on your team?

Ok, what pitcher on your team do you dread seeing so much on the mound that it makes you say, "the only good thing about him pitching tonight is that we won't have to see him again for the next four games?" Haha, you all know the one, the one who is almost a guaranteed loss?

For Boston, it's Penny, lol, I just get so excited before a game and then remember that he's pitching and just kind of groan and my excitement fades :/

Kevin Gregg. But he might pitch the next day! You never stop worrying!

I think Penny is being injusticed. He had a bad day, okay, he has quite a few bad days. But really, what'd you expect from Brad Penny? He still goes out there. He doesn't complain. I mean, today he stuck his foot out at a hard ground ball hoping to stop it to prevent a run. He's a pretty good pitcher. He's a number four/five starter for the BoSox. He'd be two or three on a lot of other teams.

Anyways, I don't like seeing Penny or Javier Lopez (for some reason, he just always seems to give up some runs when I'm watching).

Dice-K, even if he's not with the team now, I hate watching him pitch. And he's worse than Penny with the amount of pitches he throws just to get through usually 5 innings. People are being a little hard on Penny I think, he had a good stretch for a while in June and July. He's only recently been sucking really bad. He's fine as a 4th or 5th starter

Me too, I hate Brad Penny!! Even before tonight lol. I can't understand why we didn't get rid of this guy before the trade deadline - sure, he's gotten wins, but he's basically produced nothing above average while pitching for us. If he wins, it's never a shut-out or few-hit game.. it's always a lot of runs given up, but we just managed to out-hit the other team. He annoys me so much, I wish he'd get taken out of the rotation. Hopefully after tonight, he will...

James Shields, even though he's supposedly the ace of the staff in Tampa Bay, he is maddeningly inconsistent. He gets the 2nd worst run support in the league, which isn't really his fault, but he always seems to find a way to implode. He is 1-5 in his last 6 starts and frankly, I don't even expect the Rays to win anymore when he's pitching.

I remember when the braves had Jo-Jo Reys in the pitching rotation he used to make me scream. It was a guaranteed loss with him on the mound. The one I am least confident it in right now is Kawakami.

Eddie Guadrado. He's a good guy but his pitching isn't keeping him around. And whats wrong with Penny? He's my favorite Boston pitcher. You should sign him again once his contract runs out. :D Hah, jk. Just messing with ya. :D

haha like the question, I say Oliver Perez for the Mets...I mean he will have an occasional good game, but its really rare. I cringe watching this guy on the mound
