Christians, Do you think with the economic condition and Govermental concerns have distanced you from God?

Or do you believe that you have drawn closer to God in the wake of all the chaos and disputes?

What specifically has brought you to your conclusions?

All That we see now are just more indications that we are growing close to a One World Government, and strengthens my Convictions.

Conclusions ? Israel becoming a nation,

Drawn Closer to Him always being Drawn Closer, Paul Said that He fought the good fight, didn't say He won it, as winning it is not the point, as Christ has done that already, Finishing the fight it.

It has drawn me closer. I am a single mom and have struggled for several years now financially. A year ago or so, when the cost of oil suddenly shot up and all the groceries and my rent, it brought me to a different place. I surrendered the whole problem to God and said, "Ok, God it was hard. Now it is just plain beyond my ability."

This took much of the anxiety away, and I saw wonderful things begin to happen. My dad always visited early in fall (from California). That year he came late getting into winter. He observed that my wood stove put off very little heat. He bought me a new wood stove. It was the first year we'd truly been warm in the winter.

God has continued to do such things to show me that He will provide. Often He first tells me to do something for someone else in need. I then give what I don't really have to give, and yet He gives me back more.

So, yes, these economic times have definitely drawn me closer to my loving Shepherd, not further away. Great question Larry.

No, not at all but we also have been blessed, keeping our Job and, protecting us from the worldly distractions that so many people have, that is so destructive. If they would only keep their eyes up on Jesus, this time in History would not be so frightening and debilitating to so many. God is the Only one who can give you, no matter what is going on around you, PEACE, that He promised. In this time of so much uneasiness of world events... Signs of the end of the age, in this Country, seem to me to be closer now, than I can remember ever before. God is with us and leading in our Hearts, hold on!. Love you in Christ..missleslie

Economic conditions come and go but God remains the constant in an ever volatile world. I don't allow outside sources to interfere with my relationship with God, family, church, friend. How petty I would be if I allowed myself the "luxury of distraction" and not keep myself perfectly at peace with God in control of every aspect of life. Remember, God has placed people where they are ini positions of authority. We need to quit trying to second guess what He has allowed to happen. Do I always agree with His choices----not governmentally---but spiritually---He has my full attention.

God Bless you and everyone you know and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

The hope we have in Christ is not in vain; God makes us to Triumph in Christ always and makes manifest all the realities of Christ in every palce, by us. We can do all things through Christ for He is our strength, and it is God who works in us both to will, and to do, of His good pleasure, 2 Corinthians 2: 14, Philippians 2: 13, 4:13, 19.

I could do this all day, iv'e got a rock to stand on every step of the way.

come on now throw another question to me so i can boast on my Lord.

In 2 Chronicles it says:" if my people will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land." Prayer is a vital force in the growth and development of this nation. Now is the time to get as close to God as possible and trust in Him and not be to proud to pray to the God who made us.

From my personal experiance politics always make me angry, so I have desided to turn off politic and focus more on my religion. I like the peace and other fruits as I look foward to God's kingdom come and when the government will be upon his shoulders.

  • Actually it has increased my distance from this government and it's policies and corruption.

Ps 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Ps 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

No, I think that too much comfort and wealth distances us from the LORD God. I do not think that the present circumstances have affected my relationship with God at all.

Absolutely not! It's because of my relationship with

God that I have seen these events of today long before they happened through the daily studying of Gods Word.
