usually joints "crack" because of air/fluid pockets that build up OR because they are out of alignment;; what puts them out of alignment is the tension behind the tendons;; so, your either tensing your hand when this happens; or you've been tensing your hand with the things you do to it to cause sorta like a permanent malalignment to your joints;; hope this makes sense...

haha my boyfriend is like you. all his joints click. as long as it doesn't hurt and you don't do it on purpose it shouldn't be a problem
