Why is it that I can hear clearly out of my right ear, ONLY when I open my mouth?
For some reason I've had trouble hearing out of my right ear for a long time. I cannot even hear when someone whispers in it, but instead can only feel the breath. This morning, when I opened my mouth wide to yawn, my ear opened all the way that I could hear crystal clear. But as soon as I closed my mouth, it's as if it was clogged again and I couldn't hear anything. What the heck is wrong????

Sounds like you've got some kind of blockage or maybe even an infection. It happens to me all the time when there's water in my ear. Try and slide your index finger into your ear a little, then move it up and out a liiiittle so that you feel a little suction, then pull it out quickly. If your ear feels even weirder after that for a little while, you probably have water or wax in there and you just drew it a little farther out of your ear. After you do that, lean on your side so the funny ear is down and do it again. If nothing comes out, you should see a doctor so they can get it out or prescribe you drops or antibiotics. Try and see said doctor as soon as possible so that the wax doesn't harden and become a real pain in the ****. Oh and if it is a blockage or infection, don't go on a plane, you'll get excruciating pain coming back down.

There are muscles/tendons/ligaments/whatever that open/close the mouth nearby the ear. Something is most likely being shifted around when these move. See a doctor about this.

Opening your mouth is causing a partially clogged canal in your ear to open a bit.

use debrox in it for 2 days then go to the doctor and let them use either an air or water irrigator to rinse it out and you'll see why you havent been able to hear out of it for so long. its glogged with earwax and gunk.

seems like your ear is clogged with something kind of like having water stuck in your ear.
