Peanut to the rescue!

I've got a rather small bike that I want to put pegs on. The pegs only fit 3/8" axle and I have no idea what in the world that means. Is 3.8" the length of the wheel's axle?

Also, it's not a bmx, and if anyone gives me a link from lmgtfy they're dead meat. =P

Tell me what you think of my summary. Note: I couldn't include a lot of the details because we were allowed 100-150 words, I'm already over the limit. Suggestions, comments, anything would be great.

Bless the Beasts and Children is about six boys who were ending their summer at Box Canyon Boys Camp where the counselors often said they could turn any nail-biting bedwetting sissy into real man, a cowboy. These six boys were the definition of what their counselor called ‘dings’ useless slobs who took up space and didn’t fit anywhere and couldn’t do anything. They were considered the bottom of the barrel, the Bedwetters, as they were called. After they witnessed the first day of the three-day buffalo hunt in their area and saw how slowly and painfully they were slaughtered, they decided they had to do something about it, cowboys or not. They may not have met the standards of what their camp considered real men, who valued ability and skill above all, but in their journey to rescue a herd of buffalo from an excruciating death, they discovered that being a man is about more than that. It’s about integrity, and placing value on one’s morals before popular belief.

They live in the sealing and cracks of my house, mostly the bathroom. They are extremely small, and difficult to take a picture of. they're too small to count legs, but they are gray (I've seen a brown one once) and have two antennae. I used to think they only crawled, but I saw one jump like a flea. It might've just gotten blown away, I don't know. Again, very, veeery small. They're not clover mites, I checked. What are they?

I want to get a head start next year, but I can't seem to find any of the materials or topics I'll need.

I need some petty insults for a project on self esteem. Ones that tweens often use, like "Nice glasses, NOT!" Stupid stuff, like that. I don't wan't bogus answers like "You're so dumb that you're dumb." or yo-mama jokes. Things that kids would use to try and hurt. Here's some more examples:

"Nice iPod, what is it, a first generation?"

"Wow, my little sister has that exact same shirt!"

"Oh, so you've still got the same backpack as last year?"

"Nice zit!"

"Nice highwaters!"

"Oh, your nailpolish matches (insert disagreeable object's color here)"

Those were all I could think of, and they're mostly about possesions. The answers could be about anything though.

You could pay the toll of the car behind you, donate blood, volunteer, do all you can to help anything you can. A friend suggested it and it sounded like a nice idea. What would you do on a day like that?

I have a science project in two weeks and I need to make organic compost FAST!!! Any suggestions on what to use, or what do do to it? I also can't make it outside, but I don't want it to stink up my house. Will a sealed plastic Folgers aromaseal container be a good compost holder? Remember, I need supermegaultrafast compost tips. P.S. I don't have a lawn, so grass is out of the question, but I live by trees, so I could use some leaves.
