Does anyone know if the FAFSA transfers from state to state?

I was approved for FAFSA in California and had to move to Georgia unexpectedly. Does the FAFSA just transfer over to Georgia? Because on my application I put the school I wanted the grant to go through, and now it would be here in Georgia. Do I have to reapply?

    yes, you should be able to go online and add another school.

    You can add another school to your FAFSA application. It won't automatically transfer though.
