im trying to eat about 500 calories a day for a couple of weeks ,,wanna lose a stone?

but healthy enough like ,,what s filling but low cal ,,,

    500 calories! some drinks have more in them.

    the absolute minimum is 1000 a day

    ive lost 4 stone doing it the proper way, instead of trying to find an easy way out and a quick fix perhaps u shud do it properly? eating tht little wont help u 1 little bit

    losing weight takes effort and determination , not starvation.

    i burn 500 calories at the gym alone, the fact your considering eating what i burn in 30 mins is ridiculous, how can u hope to live on that? it wiull slow your metabolism and u will start to hold food and wen u eat normally you'll balloon weight wise

    just eat healthy and excercise...

    Not a smart idea. You may actually find that you will gain some weight. At that low of calorie intake, you are starving yourself. You want to take in about 1700-1800 healthy calories a day spread out over five to six meals.

    There's no such thing as 'healthy enough' with 500 calories a day. Plus, you're gonna gain it all back plus more when you start eating again so why not cut out the middle bit and just live of chocolate?

    you really wanna eat more than 500 a day woman :( you wanna eat small portions of food at 2 to 3 hours apart maybe 4,5,6 meals a day.... you will loose weight quicker like this than just having the 500 :)

    because your keeping your metabalism going :) drink LOTS of water.. green tea is GREAT for boosting metabolism too and loosing weight :)

    Anything with fibre and protein should help keep you fuller for longer :) such as apples( fibre in the skin), chicken, fish, canned tuna is good :) Brocolli is a good veg to have in any diet. Also if you intake a little more protein a day you will have better weight loss because protein gets sent through the body more quickly than other things, also something happens in the gut when you eat protein that makes the metabolism go faster... i always boil my chicken in water :) i never fry anything :( ... i know it sounds wrong to eat so much in one day but trust me, your body will think it's getting a good supply of food, so it will let go of your excess. same happens with water, drink enough and your body will let go of water weight :) hope this helps ^_^

    you should never just eat 500 calories a day. your body will store them so you probably wont end up losing weight anyway. your best bet is to eat little and often to lose weight. that way your body will know its going to get more energy in a couple of hours so it wont store extra calories. to do it healthily id aim for about 1250 calories minimum.

    It will not work just to change your diet, you have to exercise also. And like others have said 500 cal. a day is not good 1000 is min. hope this helped

    500 calories for a couple weeks will bring your metabolism to a halt and you will not lose any weight.
