is it normal for your sugar level to drop...?
to drop almost 3 mmol/L in a half an hour? I tested 1.5 hours after my lunch and it was high for me, so I tested again at the 2 hour point and now it is down by almost 3 mmol/L from the reading I got at 1.5 hours. I'm really new at this and it seems like a big drop to me.

My diabetic educator said you blood sugars rise for 3 hours after eating and then drop rapidly after that. So you don't want to be higher than 180 two hours after eating and no more than 120 four hours after eating.
