Wow nice tattoo. If you can sleep on your left side with the tattoo facing up then do so. If anyone has suggested A+D ointment, Lubriderm, or Neosporin, don't listen. Instead, go cheaper and natural by applying 100% pure Cocoa Butter (the kind that comes in the stick) whenever it is dry. Do not use your scented lotion anymore, lest you compromise the quality of your tattoo. In other words, Don't let anything but the cocoa butter touch it (of course you will have to break this rule to live normally)

Were I you, I'd get to a 24 hour pharmacy and pick up some lubriderm sensitive skin lotion before going to sleep. I highly doubt that sleeping without it for one night will ruin your tattoo but it's better safe than sorry. Do not use scented lotion, especially if it contains aloe.
When you sleep, some color might come off, it's just dead skin cells, though, nothing to worry about, it will not stain your sheets or ruin your tattoo. Make sure your sheets are clean, as you do have an open wound (or thousands of tiny wounds) and shower before bed being careful not to touch the tattoo with anything other than your hands and soap, no washclothes. Other than that, go about your daily business being careful not to be rough with it.

if you move around alot when you sleep make sure your sleeping with sheets and pillow cases you dont mind getting a little ink on, just try and stay off of your arm. And you wont mess up the tattoo by sleeping on it, the ink is in your skin already.
