Polgeria found a cat meowing out side her window?
Okay, so I was preparing my kittens food and heard a very sad meow from outside my kitchen window. My husband and i went outside, and found the most sweetest cat ever. He's black and white, very large, probably belongs to someone. If you live in the Brooks Ave area of Rochester NY, and lost your cat, answer this.
It appears to be a male, but has a lot of hair there, so it was hard to see, as well as palpate. He is declawed., why on earth would you allow a declawed cat outside!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?! And he does seem to be an outside cat, he has been meowing around my house all day, but we were just able to find him now, 3:30 am. Oh yeah, and he's limping!
For tonight, we have him in our house, since he is injured we didn't want to leave him outside for the night. We will try to take him to vets in the morning, owner, if found, will be responsible for the bill, we will not have him neutered on you, if you haven't done it yet.
I'm gonna post on craigs list too.
I'm really hoping he just randomly got out, He was just so cute, and kept running to our back yard, so I followed him for a bit, I think he was trying to take me to his home (toward Brooks), but he took the back way, and our yard is fenced in, so I couldn't follow him past the fence. When I left him, he was like "Hey, where you going?" and followed me back to my door. It looks like someone else in my neighborhood spotted him on the 27th, based on the craigs list postings, so he's been out for at least a day (going on 2 now, since it's 4:30am).

Aww, thank you for taking him in!! I can't imagine someone with a DECLAWED cat would intentionally let them out ????? Unless they now decided he was too much work and decided to dump him. Who knows in today's economy? Maybe they lost their house? I'm just hoping that he escaped and it was an honest mistake and he's just a friendly little guy who's been in a stroller or on a runner with his owner watching him the entire time. Lucky little thing that you found him! Thanks again for taking him in and looking out for him !!
EDIT: Aww, well hopefully, he's not that far from his home and you're right and he was trying to show you where he lived. I'm just hoping once you get to the vet, they'll find a chip and the whole problem will be solved!
