Do I still get my License back if I didn't attend the "Smart Start" program?
I got caught driving some friends and got my license suspended for 30 days among other things. 3 Things I had to do is community service for 18 hours (not due till 11/3) and attend a 'Smart Start" program at 8/16 but I've missed it because my mom was sick.
I am scheduled to go back to court 9/4 to get my license back. Can I still get it even though I didn't do the stupid "Smart start" crap?
Anyone ever been in this situation? I live in east bay california.
I tried to reschedule and the next date was next month. If I bring documentation that I am scheudled to go that date, do you think I'll be fine?

Don't worry about it. Just make sure you tell the judge about you thinking it is stupid crap.

That's up to the Judge.
Honestly, I doubt your reason for not attending as directed by the court will go over well with the court.
He/She could have your license revoked, which means you'll never get it back.

failure to comply means your license is gone for longer
you had to take the course and you ddnt and yet you expect to get handed your license back. dont work like that
want it back complete all the required stuff when told to
