why does my router n?

i just got it and everybody say it is good but on my laptop it still same as router g speed can any 1 tell me wot im doing wrong

    Your laptop needs to support N and most likely it does not.

    What you have is an N router and a G adapter. The N router is backwards compatible, so it works with G devices, but at G speeds

    For you to get N speeds, you must have both pieces of hardware match

    So you need an N adapter and an N router

    Yeah you need a wireless N enabled card aswell as the wireless N enabled router for it to work at full speed.

    This is your problem...your laptop has a wireless adapter that is only G compatible, you need to purchase an N wireless adapter for your laptop.
