    Don't major in music

the degree itself is not needed if u want to start ur own band-

like who answers when u ask them to join ur band "do u have a music degree?"

Anyway this way u have a backup if u decide u don't like being a street musician after all.

However take some music classes- they'll make u bttr, and ull meet other crazy musicians,

and become a music therapist lol - i laugh at the thought of u becoming a therapist gibson

my kindergarden teacher was really in to music- he had a band tht was pretty gd (but not successful), and he put a lot of free time into it. But being a teacher helped his band, because he could afford better equipment and so and so.

if u were crazy gd it could be useful to put all ur time into music and try out for a rising band

but if u just have a strong passion for music and are pretty gd, but not a prodigy don't do tht

i c u like a mr. maione- u get really really really in to ur music, but u got a job ( i know this is a bad example, because he teach music)

i don't c u like one of those random homeless guys struggling to make it big in music

Very few music majors end up in a band. They are the exception, not the rule.
