Computer won't turn on?

I got a Dell computer from my aunt, I brought it home, plugged it all in, turned it on and the only thing that happened was the light blinked. No fan, nothing on the computer screen. I opened it up and on the mother board there was a light on. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've worked on 2 Dell computers with the same issue. Initially thought the power supply was bad but tested fine. The motherboard is the culprit. Luckily for them however, it was still under warranty so a new board was free. It is hard to find replacement boards if you're not a licensed repairer for Dell computers. Might need to try eBay. Good luck!
