Whooooo!!!!!!! That was one awesome race! Fantastic, absolutely brilliant. Spa never fails to disappoint me. Wet or dry, it's always got loads of action. I was actually sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the entire race. Good thing I didn't fall off XD

Force India were really a force to be reckoned with. Fisi's pace was really solid and Kimi had to work hard for that win. Thank God he kept it together! They were really close all race! Pitting on the same laps and the gap was always around 1 sec or less. How long has it been since I saw a race like that I have no idea. Brilliant stuff! Congrats to Ferrari and Force India

(Force India finally got a pole, then points PLUS a podium. Wow...)

BMW are back again, it's good. I'm sad that this'll be their last year in F1. And after they had such high hopes too. They did a really good job today. Vettel did great in 3rd.

Rubens! If the race were another lap longer, he'd have no points. His car was already on fire when it entered the pitlane after the race. Come to think of it.... why wasn't there a parade lap?

Rosberg brought home a couple of points, so that's good. Pity about Alonso though. If not for that wheel, he might've scored a couple of points.

As for the collision between the 4 cars, I see absolutely no reason for the FIA to investigate that. Looked like a normal racing accident to me. But hey... let's just see what they say. Button still leads the championship but he'd have to score points in Monza or his chance at the championship will be slimmer

Best race of the season so far. The first lap mayhem was more exciting than the whole Valencia race and it was funny as hell seeing Button and Hamilton standing together waiting for a ride back to the pits. I don't know what excuse Rubens will have for his piss poor start but at least he finished in the points.

What a great way for Force India to score their first points on the podium. Like Fisi, I am also 'sad' at that stupid kers being the only thing between him and the top spot. That result is certainly one of the best things to happen this season, I'm looking forward to seeing them up their more often.

Great to see the BMW's back in the top half of the grid as well, some good overtaking by Nick to get back ahead of Webber after almost getting planted into the wall, i hope they do finish on a high and move up a bit on the constructors standings.

A great race by Fisi and Kimi!

Hamilton and Button were really unlucky but c'est la vie.

Fisichella did such a good job to stay so close to Kimi and maybe if the safety car hadn't come out he could have kept his first place. Of course we'll never know.

Rubens was lucky to get two points before his engine completely died.

Webber was a disappointment and with Button not scoring any points he really missed an opportunity to make an attack on the championship.

The two BMWs did really well but it's bit too late now!

Kimi was absolutely on the dot when he said the start will determine the outcome, but I think the Brits were cursed at Spa today. Lewis and Jenson taken out by Grosjean, how unlucky can that be? Though Kimi failed to open the gap between him and Giancarlo,he was consistent throughout and kept the whole race under control once he passed Giancarlo.........and goddamn it finally he did not ram into a Force India car!!!

But to sum up the whole race - Giancarlo,Force India,British mayhem,Kimi and more ice-cream!

Well, somebody I needed to speak to phoned immediately before the start of the race!!!! By the time I got back to watch, hubby said Button and Hamilton were out...... the most exciting start of the season and I'm on the bl**dy phone. But I had to take the call ..........

You know, I'm trying hard not to be cynical and wonder if this isn't getting like wrestling - FIXED. I know it was sickening to see MS vanish off into the distance race after race, but what is it with all these different teams swapping places on the pod. this season.

So what's going on here? And how did Rubens manage to get that car home (did you see the flames at the end) without the engine letting go big time. That was pretty impressive.

Jenson - get it together fgs. All that work at the start of the season and the moment the car isn't working as he'd like, he chucks in the towel (today's race apart). He needs to talk to somebody to sort out his head - before it's all over and the Fat Lady has sung.

    1. The crash was HILARIOUS!!! Grosjean and Alguersuari crashing right into well experienced racers who know what they're doing... at least for Button's case... hahahaha

    2. Good to see Fisichella back into the races. He's a great driver, just hasn't caught all the breaks.

    3. Yay Raikkonen?? Awfully ironic to have one teammate win the race and someone else finish dead last (other than DNF's)... unless it's Badoer!

    4. Speaking of DNF's, did Renault even check their tyres before the race began, never mind at the qualifying?

    5. Why hasn't Ferrari replaced Badoer?

Being an Indian...to see an Indian team on the podium ..no doubt made me happy...but dont know why i wasn't jumpping...i wasn't as happy as when sutil was running 4th at Monaco last year..!!...

I think Fisichella could have won it easily had he done an better rolling start...or maybe Kimi was one step ahead of him in the intellegence section!!...

I am a Fan of Kimi and force india were bon podium so it was double whammy for me!!

    --------

i saw jenson crash...and through T-cam it looked as if-

the brawn car with jenson in it was trying to escape and was caught by his shirts collar while he was running and forced to fall or rather spin and crash!

    1. Nice to see the real Kim Shady finally stand up!

    2. Well done to Fisi, Forci, and Indi a.

    3. Thanks Luca, don't come back!

    4. The real winner was Spa, what a great track, it embarrasses every one of the new tracks that have have been brought in recently. More proof that a good old one is better than a good young one Top Gear Gal! ;-)

Perfect drive by Kimi, hate to admit it but he deserved the win. I would have liked to see Fisicella on that top step but knowing that there was a kers powerf farrari behind him at the restart he should have backed the rest of the pack up. Gutted to see Hamilton out but at least Kovelinen scored some points. I was very frustrated to see barricello's crap start, because i want to see him win the championship. After playing second place to Shumacker in farrari he deservs it.

Button needs to change his helmet so he can start winning again.
