Why do people spell Obama with a zero (0bama)?
I've seen it a lot on here. Just curious, is it a play on something?

it is play, being informal, ect, like calling Bush dubya, this goes on for all presidents, the zero for Obama is just what y/a has decided to use.

they're attempting to enhance him the same courtesy and admire that the leftist/Democrat/media cabal prolonged to President Bush for 8 years. different than Bammy is barely going to have 4.

It's been going on since the primaries last year. The first time I saw, I thought it was a simple, clever statement of disapproval. Now, I know just how smart those people were. Obama is a zero.
Far more clever than those McBush idiots.

Well I saw a lot of people adding "Nobama" as their middle name on facebook after he won the election. I wonder if "0bama" is like 13375p43k for "Nobama"

It makes a Conservative feel clever, while the rest of the world tries to figure out what they are talking about.

Probably because it uses one less keystroke than NObama.
I can't stand the guy, politically speaking, but think the '0' is a bit lame.

They think they're all clever. Really, they just look like idiots to the rest of us. I thought that people who spelled Bush "Bu$h," were idiots too.

It saves time. It shows that you don't hve to read the question because it will only be a Republican rant.

Its a tribute to their home-schooling education... can't spell, don't have the creativity to be funny, etc.

Just our way of reminding folks the sum total of his executive experience prior to his becoming president.
