Metal chat room, good idea or....?

Question

So, I'm thinking about starting a metal chat room for us Y!A metalheads, just a place where we can come and talk about metal, post links to cool vids and what-not. I've had this idea for a while seeing as Y!A doesn't have a metal section and we gotta click through endless pages of Miley Cyrus to find questions we're interested in. There isn't gonna be any subscriptions, sign-ups, pop-ups, ads or anything like that, totally free and will work with just about any browser. This is gonna be strictly for the metalheads in Y!A. The only thing is is you gotta use your current Y!A username so I know who you are. I don't wanna allow just anyone, that way we don't have to deal with retards. Sound like a good idea?

I think you should totally go for it cause it is really hard here to find legitimate questions/discussions about real metal music here and even then there are only usually about 3 questions about it a day so a chat room i think if all the actual metalheads here went there it would give us more room for actual discussions about the genre aside from just the questions we get on here like recommend me some bands and stuff like that

Well there's a R&P chat already and there's usually a lot of metalheads in their (including me and a lot of other new and old R&P regs that are metalheads). There's also other types of fans like classic rock fans and stuff but trust me, there are no Miley Cyrus fans or pop fans in really haha. Here's the link if you or anyone is interested

And as for your chatroom. I would check it out cause I always love to talk about metal but I like it when a lot of music tastes are mixed together more.

Sounds like an amazing idea! We really do need a metal section, or at least to separate the Rock and Pop section. They are not the same thing.
