yes they still leave the mickey shampoo and soap in the rooms every day. they also sell the shampoo in big botles in the gift shop if you like it well enough to use it at home.

and yes the 50's is still the quietest section to stay in. and the pool is also still the quietest. (i just stayed in the 50's and i've stayed in the other sections as well)

As of our last visit yes, they left soaps and Shampoo. I would imagine it is on an As-Needed basis, that is that they just replace ones you have used and don't just keep adding to them.

While we don't go often we personally like the 50's for the theming, and was our building of choice. We didn't notice a noise issue and can't really compare it with other buildings. That probably comes down to exactly where you are and your "neighbors". We do prefer a Top-Floor room so we can guarantee we have no one walking around above us. But that is just from experience and not really specific to the Resort.
