Anybody know any good sites I can send my girl to to get the basics of the game of football?
I need her to get the basics down with out me having to interrupt the game for everybody else around me.
@ There is no sign...
I understand that and I am prepared to answer any and all questions... but I wanted her to have a least a basic understanding of the game without needing to explain it throughout the game...

watch a few games you dont care about with just the 2 of you and be prepared to answer all her questions with the promise that when you have your buddies over or are watching a game you care about she has to keep her yap shut.
It is tough to learn anything by just reading about it.

NFL.com has a great primer for new fans. "Football for Dummies" is pretty good, although I have found some factual errors in it.
