Are the Gnostic Gospels and Dead Sea Scrolls a new beginning for Christianity?

Matt 10:26

Mark: 4:22

Luke 12:2

What is Hidden will be Revealed,... and they were hidden and now have been revealed, are these writings possibly a message from God?

Update:

The Dead Sea Scrolls could be a new Old Testament...

Update 2:

We have been given texts that reveal the different aspects of early christanity, and judaism, untainted by human politics, and religious zeal.

The texts were buried because they were banned by the heirarchy of the Catholic Church.

On July 22nd 1210 in Minerve France, the first Massacre of Christians ( the Cathars) in which they were incinerated by Catholic Christians took place. Men, women and children all were killed. Why? Because they thought differently from the established Church at that time. They were good people who believed they had an inner sense of 'Knowing' Women were equal to men, they thought the 'Lesser God" or Demiurge is an image, an Image of 'God' which we have conjured in our minds, or an image which exists in the being of this creation and a part of the fabric of suffering that goes with it..They were Gnostics...and put to death because of it.

Who are we to say they were not inspired by God? .the real Creator, the one who Loves, not the one that intimidates.

Update 3:

So, we can read the Gnostic texts, they give us a new perspective on early Christian thought and philosophy.

They gives us an insight into why they were buried. they were dangerous because they express the thought that 'ultimate salvation' lies within the soul of the individual and not within the authority of any Church.

So, no new beginning ..

but maybe a new understanding of the History of the Church and it's politics to control people. The Inquisitions starting with the Cathars are testament to this as well as the wars that were and are still fought over conflicting relgious belief. With the unearthing of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hammidi Library , we have the opportunity to think 'What if some of these texts had been included in the Bible?

    Laura,

the era of miracles is finished, Jesus transmitted his message, it's up to us to accept it or refuse it, stop digging where nothing will appear.

It is clear what Jesus did, and also clear that they killed him because he was saying the truth.

Romans were obliged to execute him !

The Gnostic Gospels and the Dead Sea Scrolls have given us a lot of information, both about the canonical scriptures, and later writings.

But it has not given rise to a new beginning.

They can be really fun sometimes, though! Like the one where the child Jesus keeps killing people that displease him one way or another, and Joseph says, "From now on we are not letting him out of the house!"

The Dead Sea scrolls confirm the old testament and Hebrew scrolls. The Gnostic writings were left out for good reason and only confuse the issue.

No Christianity is changing but this has nothing to do with it.

The Gnostic Gospels are so bloody interesting to me. Can you imagine? The 'Creator God' being a lessor God? Wow, fathom that. A God greater than God? Mind-boggling. I think it says that the Creator God was not only lessor but somewhat cruel as well. I suppose that would explain a lot. (I mean...metaphorically, you know).
