do liberals really believe?
That Rush L. is the leader and voice of conservatives in America? What is the reasoning behind this? He has a talk radio show? The only people who claim that are left wing extremists and politicians trying to deflect attention from themselves. Is it because they know they are in trouble come election time?
wage : so you are saying that republicans are ignorant and closed minded because they don't agree with your thinking. I would like to see your sources(other that some left or right wing publication). I would like to see the statistics by voter, not state. The states have been split within 10% in most every race, so that statistic is useless. I know a lot of very well educated conservatives(of all races). I also know like liberals. Do you see the hypocrisy in your idea?

It's not even like Limbaugh's listeners are all Republicans anyway... there are probably a lot of Democrats listening in to see what he will say next.

Politics is a continuum, not a "binary system"; there are literally millions of fiscally-conservative Americans who think that a druggie overweight blow-hard is the WORST advertisement foe Republicanism the GOP could possibly have, but then there are millions Left-of-center who have come to view Rush as the "gift that keeps on giving"!

Most liberals are 19 years old, attend some college, are of every race and religion, and have no idea what the world is about.
Most conservatives are scared of being uncomfortable, have never attended a college with another race or religion, and have no idea what the world is about.

And none of the elected Republican officials will disagree with him or even point out when he tells blatant lies.
When they do disagree with him, they all end up apologizing.
Sure makes it look like Rush has a pretty good hold on them.
