What do you call a soliloquy for two people?
I know that a soliloquy is when a single person steps out of the scene on stage and talks directly to himself or to the audience. But what do you call that for when two people do that? For instance, two people stepping out of the scene, having their own discussion. I can't remember the specifc term.

If two actors are talking to each other, even if they are stepping out of the scene, it is considered a dialogue. If both actors were stepping out and both individually talking to the audience, that might be considered two different soliloquies. I don't think there's another name.

If someone steps out of the scene to say something, it's called an "Aside". Is that what you were trying to think of?
