lets JUST STAY! a 30 yr old man can run for us presidency!!! knowing the following would vote for him?

for those who already answered I KNOW U HAVE TO BE 35!! THATS WHY IM ASKING IF HE'S 30 AND U KNOW THE FOLLOWING WOULD U VOTE FOR HIM? JUST PLAY WITH ME HERE!

that he is extremely intelligent

great problem solver; concerning issues such as taxes, health care, great economic management, creates many job opportunities, all in all makes the country much much better than it is..

he's passionate, kind, and goes for the best..his appearance might make him look even younger maybe 22-25 not 30, but is strong, well respected and feared due to his intelligence and keeping his word, yet is rational.

lets say he is already a senator and has already done much good, he studied law and has never lost a case, very witty and won more cases than other lawyers who've been in the field much longer than he has, he was also a ADA assis dist attor. in new york

SO KNOWING ALL THIS ..HE LOOKS 25 YEARD OLD, BUT IS REALY JUST 30 YEARS OLD , AND IS A DEMOCRAT, WOULD U VOTE FOR HIM?? CAN U PLEASE MENTION IF UR A REP OR A DEMOC

THANKS

What you need to realize is everything you mentioned could be just your opinion. Some can be fact. Some has to be opinion. I don't agree with every ones opinion and I like to think for myself. Did you know that a president is supposed to represent the Union. Congress represents people. Presidents representing people are violating the oath of office. It is the presidents duty to represent and defend the Union and to enforce its constitution as is.

I am an independent but the qualities that you mention are not necessarily going to do the president any good since all legislation starts in congress. While it is true that the president can veto bills that spend to much the bill can still be passed with a 2/3 vote.

History will show you that a person that is already a senator and then decides to run for president, does not fare very well in an election. This last election was different since both candidates were already senators and prior to Obama the last senator to be elected president was John Kennedy.

To me the important things are not how good a person looks or how many cases he has won in court. I am concerned with his policy views and his moral values. Is this person a conservative democrat or a liberal democrat ? What are his views on issues such as abortion and gay marriage ?

When you talk about job creation the only way to really create jobs is to lower taxes and give monetary benefits to corporations, most democrats that I know call this corporate welfare. They fail to see that if a corporation is induced to increase its work force there are more people working and paying taxes.

I would have to look at the man and his policies before I would vote for him, just because someone says he is great does not make it a reality. They said all of this about Obama and look at how fast he is spending the taxpayers money. In fact the new estimates of our future deficit has been raised $2 trillion over previous estimates and this does not even include health care.

Many would point to this and say aha this must mean that God looks like a man. This is wrong and stupid. God is not a man, does not look like a man, and has no physicality and therefore cannot be anything like man. In order to answer this question one must first look back to creation and how it describes the way God created the world. It says God spoke etc. Speaking is a physical characteristic you say and so you are correct. The reference to speaking here does not mean speaking as man speaks but there is no other way to call it in any human language. So God created through whatever speech is for God. God also gave man speech and speech for us is something different that speech for God. Nonetheless there is a factor of both God and man having speech. As man the closest that man can come to creating is by speaking. Let me explain... Take an example of the chair you are sitting in while reading what I typed. It is something than was made out of something in a fashion that you can sit on it. Then man come along and calls it chair. Why? Because in order to communicate man has to create what he is communicating therefore the chair was a creation of the language that God gave man. You ask why then are there so many languages and what was the original language that God gave the world? These are good questions. First off there are many different languages in existence because language is something that changes and develops over time as life progresses and there is more to name or talk about. Also people move away from each other in different environments so they change and develop in different ways. As to what the original language was the answer would be every language since they all inevitably grew from the first one that existed.

You provided the typical stuff that a politician might throw out in a campaign but with no substance and in your own words:

"great problem solver; concerning issues such as taxes, health care, great economic management, creates many job opportunities, all in all makes the country much much better than it is.."

My question is this person "makes the country much much better than it is" for whom? Would that be his own political party, himself, his constituents from his home State, his business partners.....?

You also state the this person is a great problem solver for all types of worthy causes but the same question as above applies as to who are these problems being solved? Who are they creating jobs for?

All of the qualities you stated only matter if he agrees with me on the issues or is willing to make compromises on issues that we might disagree on. I need more info... I mean I have voted against many candidates that you have described. In politics brilliance and kindness is often not enough to reward someone with a public office. My interests sometimes mean more than a politician's character.

If there was a WOMAN who looked MIDDLE AGED and was full of WISDOM that comes from EXPERIENCE and was SMARTER than the young BOY TOY would you vote for HER????????????????

    I am guessing no.

There is a reason for the age limit, and that is that nobody has enough life experience at 30 to understand that much, and young people are too young to even know that they don't know.

Im a democrat and i would vote for him. Obviously if he is a good senator (hypothetically speaking), then he will most likely be a competent president. But i would probably want him to wait the 5 extra years unless we really really needed him as president. Sometimes laws should be broken if bold moves are to be made.

  • 1 decade ago

Nope, because his wanting to run, and disregarding the US Constitution, is all I need to know about him... everything else you stated about him is irrelevant, the second he decided to run, knowing he was ineligible, and not Constitutionally qualified.

    Independent.

  • Well the thing is that if he is as smart as you say then obviously he wouldn't be a Democrat !

  • 1 decade ago

Sure. I'm Democrat. I care more about actually being able to do the job than I do about any idiot religious conviction crap, and I don't believe everything I'm told just because my religious leaders (or the Republicans) said it.
