There has never been an incident involving terrorism with Thai Airways and the Bangkok airport is a modern facility. It's well guarded with all of the latest security technology. I fly through there often, sometimes on Thai Airways, terrorism has never crossed my mind.

    Hi,

Calm down! Thai Airways is an amazing airline. I only - repeat - ONLY fly with them because they are such an amazingly safe, comfortable, and affordable airline.

From Sydney, you'll be on a Boeing 777-300 which is one of the most popular used planes out there. It has a great safety record, and you should not be concerned.

Terrorism is unknown, and can strike at any time. There is no way you can predict that this particular flight will be struck by terrorists. Terrorists would not target a plane without a reason too. If you are this concerned about terrorism, then maybe flying isn't for you. You could say the same for Qantas, but would that stop you from flying with Qantas? Of course not!

Just relax, enjoy the flight. Watch some movies (see the link provided for current movies - they have heaps more so not to worry!) and have a great time in Greece.

    :)

Thai Air is as safe as any airline from Terror attacks. It's not like you are flying on an Afghanistan or Iraqi airline where you have a likely chance of being blown up or killed trying to go to the airport for your flight. You have more chance of walking in Kings Cross area of Sydney and being shot than being on a Thai flight and having a terrorist cause problems. You'd have a better chance of being taken hostage in a bank robbery than being involved in a terrorist attack on a plane and that doesn't stop you going to the bank does it!

Its probably just as safe as anyother airline. your obviously a nervous flyer. There is nothing to worry about i have flown on so many different airlines all over the world including the middle east and africa (supposedly where terroist live) an i have never been blown up once. Buy some nytol have a couple of beers and the flight will be a pleasant dream. safe journey

definite it did. and not for the 1st time the two. human beings have short concepts at here. the two that or they swallow each and all of the garbage that's shoved down their throats via the right-wing media. i ponder whether those Zionist supporters have ever heard of Sabra and Shatila refugee camps the place the palestinians have been herded off to love livestock so as that the Israeli's ought to stay to tell the tale their land, bull-doze down their properties and scouse borrow their agencies. The IDF then sent the fascist Christian Falangists protection tension into the camps the place they completed the massacres decrease back in 1982. this type of component takes place and the Christians and conservatives on the right nonetheless help the Israeli's. Israel exists on the foundation of bible tale's and this is the twenty first century. shouldn't we be taking a extra materialist view to politics on the instant time?

Well from personal experience there are lots of brown people on Thai flights, but none of them that I encountered were terrorists.

much safer than driving a car!!! don't fall prey to the media, follow statistics. if you look at it, drunk drivers kill more ppl than terrorists do then shouldn't alcohol be made illegal in order to protect human life?
