New movies to watch in theaters or on dvd?

There are some good movies in the theater that you can watch, but downloading them is going to be another matter. Most of the download sites have closed and/or the links are no good. The Pirate Bay recently closed and watch-movie-links.net doesn't have an links that work, currently.

I think it's because of the class action lawsuit filed by the movie studios against the offending websites. So, most of those sites are being taken down, or are just not working like they used to. At least they haven't gotten to Youtube, but I heard that Youtube was going to get rid of their theatrical movie selection.

There is a website that is called www.filmfresh.com that charges for the streaming of a movie, but the downloading of a movie is considered piracy and the Government has said they are taking a new view on this type of cybercrime.

You may think you can watch something online for free, but while the movie is in the theaters, it's possible it may be on this new site created by the movie studios. If not, you risk a virus for your computer and numerous other problems, the worst of which could be jail or imprisonment.

A friend of mine, John, had 122 movies on his hard drive before he was caught. He's spending 3-5 years in jail while his wife and kids have to live on welfare. The worst part is John never thought he would be caught, but those sites are soon to be taken over by the US Government eventually.

In reality, it's best to spend the $5 and watch a matinee if you're not completely sure that you'll like the movie. What you want to do is piracy, which is considered a crime. Be careful what you do, because I'd hate to see you put in jail or fined because you wanted to skip paying the money at the theater.

After all, it's THEIR class action lawsuit against the websites that is really making this a serious crackdown. The owners of the sites don't want to be fined, of course, so they will be shutting down their sites, eventually.
