A free way of doing it is to download Real Player & you'll get a Download Now button above the video. I know it's an ancient method but it works & it's free. Don't download realplayer SP though

go to savevid.com just put in the url for the youtube video, then download it in flv, mp4, or in HD. you can watch the videos using GOM player.

if you have it put into mp4, you can even put them on your cell phone, however some of the videos may be in High Resolution and your phone might not support it. and some videos will work just fine on your cell phone.
