As the BBC is a state owned TV corporation ....?
Is is no possible that the daily drivel of NHS gripes is being driven by the government as a method of brain-washing the public into thinking the NHS would be better as a Privatised entity ?
If I could have an answer that addresses the question, that would be great. The government get money from taxes for the BBC ... and there is a disproportionate amount of pointless "News" non-stories about "ailing" NHS ... So, it is easy to conclude that there could be someone somewhere that is trying to prime the public into a way of thinking. Or maybe its just me.

Before the wave of privatisations in the 1970s and the 1980s the media, not just the BBC, was full of "scare stories about the nationalised industries - how inefficient they were, how they were overmanned, how productivity was low and how much they cost the taxpayer. There was a continual drip, drip, drip of propaganda.
Some thing similar is now happening in the media in relation to the NHS.
It is no accident that earlier this week a report on the NHS published by a City firm that made just all those points. Buried away in the foliage of data was the real reason they were advocating "reform" of the NHS. What is left of the NHS is sitting on £8.3 billion of assetts which, no doubt, the Tory backers in the finance sector cannot wait to get their sticky fingers on.

A great question. It is at the very least an 'unofficial' government controlled corporation - who rely on the 'goodwill' of the government to get this (highway robbery) licence fee money from the public.
When the BBC 'don't toe the party line' they are threatened with the ending of the licence fee - and this has happened lots of times in the past - and after that threat the BBC soon fall into line.
So the BBC is not supposed to be a state run corporation but we can 'all read' between the lines for the reasons you've stated......the public is not stupid - even if the government thinks we all are.!!!

1] the BBC is not a state owned enterprise. It is owned by the license payers - me and thee.
2] the NHS is a sacred cow and any political party which messes with it is dead, gone and finished.
Don't believe me? Then let labour keep on the way it's going and it will be out there in the dark for an entire generation.
Same will happen to the Tories - they already look weak on the NHS front, their spokesperson having told America that the Tories plan to scrap the NHS.
Also, UKIP plan to scrap the NHS if they get into power.
People who think they can afford private medicare should really research the cost of such. We all know we cannot afford it, so we stick with the NHS.

It has nothing to do with being State owned. BBC claims to be independent of Government.
In order to propagate a particular set of ideas in broadcasting, it is necessary to select and appoint the staff who work for the organisation.
Choose a Head from one side of the political divide, who then goes on and appoints lesser minions to recruit people with similar sentiments. These people make the programmes and set the agenda. It is all done quiet discretely. Of course, it takes a little time to fill an organisation in this way, but equally, it takes time for a new government of a different political persuasion to appoint a new head and for the (now) entrenched staff of the organisation to be replaced.
I am sure that the government is easily able to get its message across, and not just through the BBC, but by controlling the release of information to ALL broadcasters and media.

The BBC is the propoganda machine of the government, always has been. It's the most biased corporation in the media circle. With regards to the NHS I never use it as I want to live a bit longer strange as that may seem, so I think it should be privatised to get rid of the filthy hospitals, incompetent Doctors and lazy staff.
