Van Jones says it was a vicious smear campaign? Do you agree?
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's environmental adviser Van Jones, who became embroiled in a controversy over past inflammatory statements, has resigned his White House job after what he calls a "vicious smear campaign against me."
The resignation, announced early Sunday, came as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.
Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

Well since every single attack was accompanied by a video confirming what he said, the only person who smeared him... is himself. Others just brought his words into the light of day, and in the case of the 9/11 petition... his signature. Van Jones has no one to blame but himself.

I do not agree. Van Jones is a stain. A stain is useless but still obviously present.
Useless unless used to prove a point. Think Clinton.
With Van Jones out of the way we can get back to watching Obama reveal how unprepared he really was for the job. LOL!

Not only no, but HELL no.
I've seen all his clips and there is no way it's a vicious smear. This is what this guy is.
I'm REALLY concerned at how he was selected by 0bama's TOP adviser. What's her story and how did the rest of these Czars get vetted?
We need to clear out all of 0bama's Czars and get him to go back to Congressionally vetted cabinet members.

There was to much evidence that he was a radical communist his share the wealth ideas are very un-American. The president of the U.S. does not need some one like that advising him on anything. Liberals don't worry there are plenty of socialist appointees left.

Apparently "vicious smear campaign" is the new phrase for right wing conspiracy, ridiculous Dem's.
If it is a smear campaign to hold these idiot czars that Obama imports accountable for their words and deeds then AMEN to the smear.
