microsoft flight simulator x: deluxe version versus regular version?

Besides the extra airplane choices, and extra cities, and so forth, does the deluxe version give better airplane handling? whereas Im trying to master the lear 45 into Telluride mission, and Im having trouble maintaining altitude, and having trouble lining up to the runway, does the deluxe version give better fine adjustments? I read in the booklet that came with the deluxe version, that I can raise my seat. I did know that. That will help a lot. I dont know if the seat adjustment feature is new to the deluxe version, or I just didnt see it, in the regular version.

Update:

the deluxe package arrived. either my regular version had corrupt files OR the settings were all screwed up. I installed the deluxe version, and it works beautifully. I landed the Lear 45. You can alter the settings on Microsoft flight simulator from easy to hard, but it seems ludicrous to give that kind of manual setting control. You could set it to the point where you make it so difficult that it ceases to give a reasonable simulation of a flying experience!

    Hi Marc S,

Nice to see you're flying FSX. Aerodynamically speaking, both versions are the same. The only difference in the two are the aircraft you can get, G1000, ATC with multiplayer, a few extra missions, and so fort. The way you can think about it is that you pay more for "extra content". The game itself is 100% the same. Same physics and all.

no, that would be pointless to program a game to behave differently if you bought the cheap version. microsoft could be sued for discrimination. but telluride landing was an easy mission, it was one of the first i completed. just have the AP help you out on approach. either put it into APP mode with the ILS slaved to NAV1 or just manually control the altitude knob with your mouse while the heading is the same as the runway. simple.

The deluxe also includes the Air Traffic Control feature. The standard does not.

I would say the dynamics are the sma e however the deluxe does have a nice G1000 glass display option in addition to the other options listed above.
