We, the USA are not a Democracy, but a Republic?

We are not ruled by mob (Democracy) but by law (Republic). We have moved away from our Constitution because it is not taught in our public schools. Civics is no longer a required class. How can we know if D.C. is performing under the Constitution if we do not know how and under what guidelines the congress, senate, and president are to follow? The 30 some Czars appointed by Obama are a manipulation around the checks and balances of out laws. FDR was the first president to have a Czar. These Czars are paid $158,00.00- $172,000.00 each per year and have from 10-25 staffers, an office, and an expense account. Czars answer to no one but Obama. The Congress does not oversee the Czars spending. The science czar, John Holdren, advocates publicly forced abortion and sterilization. Wake up America we are going in the wrong direction and have been for more than 70 years. This goes beyond party lines. a democracy and a republic is NOT the same thing!! It's because of people like that that socialists are elected to office!

In a democracy, once the government has been elected, they don't need the people's approval to do what they want. In a republic, they DO!

Republic government is elected democratically, but are RULED BY A LAW called the constitution.

A democracy is not a desirable system, because even the majority can be wrong, and if the majority rules and are wrong, everyone will suffer.

Yes it is true the US is a republic, but it is also a representative democracy.

"Republic" and "Democracy" are not mutually exclusive.

That may be news to a lot of those who failed civics classes, or those who were never taught.

But it doesn't belong in THIS category.
