How much would the tattoo artist "Jack Rudy" charge for a half sleeve tattoo?
i heard he does a $500 down payment...BUT, i'm looking at a half sleeve quote on just the OUTSIDE of my bicep from the shoulder down to my elbow

Depends on the detail involved, color or b&W etc. I'm sure somewhere around $1500-2000. My Bob Tyrrell portrait on my upper arm goes about 3/4 down to my elbow and it cost $1200, b&w. Worth every penny tho!

The best thing to do is make a visit to the tattoo parlours in the area and ask the artists there- they're the only ones who can give you an accurate estimate. For example, I have a swallow and banner, a blue diamond and a winged cherry making up the complete part of my sleeve, but I still have lots to go, and it's cost me £300 so far...!
