I was watching today's episode. JR looks TERRIBLE. It made me sad to watch him. Does he have cancer in real life? My friend said she saw on the Daytime Awards that he does. I didn't see it??
I know it's acting and such a thing called makeup, Lady... I am just going by what a friend told me.

No, he doesn't. He has said in interviews that several people in his family have battled cancer and he wants to do the story justice. SO he is going all out. He shaved his head already and I think he was gong to lose some weight to make it more realistic.

No, he's fine in real life. But they are doing a good job of making him look sick. At the Daytime Emmys his head was shaved as JR is going through chemotherapy and they film in advance.

no the actor is not sick in real life- he is Acting! and it's called Makeup
at the emmys he had a shaved head-for the character- they film 4-6 weeks in advance so JR will be doing some chemo most likely
