ELLEN AS AMERICAN IDOL JUDGE?!?!WTF!!!?

I'm excited that Ellen is going to be the new judge. This is how I see it: Ellen isn't in the music business (obviously) so she doesn't know much about the technicalities involved in the industry ... it will be like having a fan of American Idol being one of the judges. And also she will be very entertaining and will be a good add to the panel. Paula will be missed though :\

i don't really watch american idol except for the beginning auditions...glad paula is gone but they should have just stayed with 3 judges instead of re-adding a 4th judge...we will see how ellen does

I quit watching American Idol a while back and with Ellen being a judge, there is NO WAY I will watch it ever again!!!

She has no company critiquing from now on than you or I do. i think of that she ought to do something like get comments from followers on the line, form of like Harvey Levin does on the human beings's courtroom. they could have human beings gazing from a great demonstrate screen outdoors or close to the theater the place they tape. Now that could carry something new to the teach and it may supply her a raffle to coach off her comedy chops. To make room for that form of section, they could enable in basic terms one choose remark after each and each overall performance and then turn to Ellen along with her guy-on-the-highway comments.

yea, i agree with ya totally...the show was great the way it was, why change when the show is beating every1 in the ratings.

i guess FOX wants a change, and I hope Paula can find a full time job since she is out as of now, *crosses fingers* for a bombshell comeback

they should have brought in Sharon Osborne, She is respected in Music Industry, she is a marketing genius (she has marketed Ozzy to the hilt) and Ellen is better suited for Americas Got Talent where they do have Comedians and other General Talent.

I think she is way out of her League sitting between Simon and Randy
