White House reports 1 million jobs saved, created?

Now forgive me if I am wrong but didn't Obama say that if his 787 Billion dollar stimulus bill is passed we would not see unemployment raise above 8%? Now we are sitting just barely under 10% and the white house now sez 1 million jobs were saved?? 

How is this possible? 

And before some of you go here "It would have been a lot worse if not for the bill" I will say and have said "Government intervention prolongs progress and we would be better off letting the free market correct itself". - Both statement can be true and both cannot be confirmed for we will never know the outcome so both are speculative. 

I think Obama is positioning himself to request yet another sizable stimulus bill... yes/no??

WH BS. We didnt need the Porhkulous. The CBO reported in an annual report BEFORE Barry took office that if NOTHING was done the economy would turn around the second half of 2009, as it is doing.

& saying you SAVED jobs, a million or whatever, is like saying you stopped a million shark attacks in your bathtub.

I save thousands of jobs every day.

I shop , buy gas , watch direct tv, buy building materials, deal with the dept of building and safety and pay lots and lots of taxes that keep the cops , fire , dept of parks and recreation and politicians in a job.

So phucking what !

Creating jobs is what he promised and aside from a few czars has not delivered.

Well, I know that the Federal government is hiring so fast they don't have time to check references.  Also, they're adding numbers to the military.

To be fair, I know quite a bit of the money went to save the Union jobs in the state governments as well, IE Teaching jobs.  

I guess you just have to be willing to be a government employee to have a job.

Obama stated it... by potential of how, I saved approximately one hundred,000 jobs myself the day previous and , if i think like it, will save yet another one hundred,000 as we communicate. If ten individuals try this for each week it particularly is glaring that the recession would be over in ten weeks. Do you think of Obama and Pelosi will thank us?
