"Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God". Psalm 43:5

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 indicates that "we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body".

"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit". Psalm 34:18

Ps 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

"He heals the brokenhearted, And binds up their wounds". Psalm 147:3

"Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.... For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble ...we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life". 2 Corinthians 1:4, 8

Joshua 1:9 "I command you, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go".

From the Bible “Any one who claims to be in the light, but hates his brother is still in the darkness.” 1 John 2:9 From the Holy Quran - Believers Set the Example - "O you who believe, no people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than they. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than they. Nor shall you mock one another, or make fun of your names. Evil indeed is the reversion to wickedness after attaining faith. Anyone who does not repent after this, these are the transgressors." Quran 49:11

John 3:17 I don't like to say Bible verses out loud as someone once told me that the devil can't hear it if you don't say it out loud. Something like silent reading? That way you don't give away the plot before the end of the story.

Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I seek God and find the purpose of my pain. Pain is there to teach us. I don't think God is so hot on us suffering. Here's a passage I use.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)

Give Him your sadness. He has bigger shoulders...

When I feel bad, which isn't very often, I just open the bible and read where god created all the players and then picked sides and had a war in heaven. I am so glad somehow I got a brain more than that stupid god.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me and I will listen to you.

You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

    (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Greater is He ( Jesus ) that is in me, the he( satan) that is in the world.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength.

God has not given me a spirit of fear, ( doubt, worry) but of power, love and sound mind.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever,

My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

Be sure to confess these out loud for you need to hear them. So does the devil who attacks your mind by putting thoughts in to your head to annoy and make you cry.

fight the good fight of faith.
