Individuals can and do all the time, but mankind as a whole will never sacrifice its body to save its soul. In case you haven't noticed, the world is filled with selfish ignorant people-- particularly the ones that are in control! I agree with the first answer- if we are being honest, (does not mean it has to be rude or insulting) the simple fact is that all answers and ideas are not intelligent or interesting. Many are just plain ignorant, thoughtless, and without any credibility or merit!

Great question !

To each their own choice God freely gives us the choice .

It cannot be forced upon another. (Gods Love & Will)

Every one born was so innocent and needy to be loved & nurtured.

This is the big issue and why one needs to be born again as they didnt come into the world nurished and that leaves them vonerable to the sins

that they were touched by wrongfully. As they reach an certain age after being subjected to under nurishment they will be angry and thus vonerable and also the more easy to commit sins above those they feel they were hert by.

After one excepts John 3:16 they become born again and need nurishment and Galatians 5:22-26 is the starter what they need from the Holy Spirit to feed them and learn to get very humble befor God

and do Gods will and no longer our own or mixed together both.

Easyer said then done for most whom suffer so deeply. those that suffer deeply will either choose all negitive or learn whom God is to them and begain the bumpy and narrow road to heaven.

Most that come to God broken and weary and cry out to daddy in heaven shall come to know Him ! Humble. Never the less my will God , but thine will be done becomes their attitude and thus all the negitive's God removes out of their hearts, minds & souls and thus be gain to live the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit.

We can pray for those that suffer; God humble this person if they are ready. Other wise we true christains are to daily live the fruits of the spirit in us befor others that they may see clearly.

But we cannot by our own will or God force them to except Gods perfect love. This is an hard lesson for true christains to learn

Hard love come in many ways for children, parrents, christains etc.....

God has two forms of love:

unconditional: John 3:16

Conditional : Galatians 5:22-26
