I have medical professional friends all over the World and also do medical translations. I can report the the care in developed countries is pretty equal. The professional exchange across the borders is often much better than the exchange within.Professional jealousy is alive and well

    best at what?

medical care can be divided into three parts --

    emergency care

    chronic care

    preventive care

mostly, hospitals are about emergency and chronic care.

i saw a study online at investors.com about a month ago which commented that US has best emergency care in the world -- but that its chronic care and preventative care aren't the best.

This question is just going to receive mostly bias answers..

But you're screwed if you're poor in the USA, and in emergency in Europe.

If you have sufficient funds, you will receive the best treatment in a US hospital.

If you are middle or lower class, you will be better off in Europe.

I have no idea about Australia, never been there.
