What happened to my "Top Contributor" button?
Does anyone know how Yahoo rates contributors? I used to have a sign below my name that identified me as a "Top Contributor". The sign is gone. What happened?

The badge is dynamic, so it comes and goes depending on your recent contributions.
They keep the exact amounts secret, but it seems like you need about 200-250 points a week and over 10% best answers in a category to keep the badge.
If you don't answer as many questions for a couple of weeks, you will lose the badge.
But, if you start answering lots of questions again, then you can get the badge back within a couple of weeks. You never lose it permanently.
Hope this helps!

No one really knows much about "TC" status. But i know that you need to contribute a lot(hence why "top contributor") to yahoo answers community by answering many questions and receiving BAs. You at least need 10%+ best answer rate, which you surpass by far. The orange badge is dynamic, it disappears if you dont gain enough points or BAs(im not sure about the cutoff..only yahoo knows), but you will regain it eventually if you participate enough.
