Is Obama health care FREE?

Or is every tax payer going to shovel out the trillions and billions of dollars to start it and keep it running.

Only a fool would want to pay higher taxes.

It will be free to the people who don't work and thus don't pay income taxes. For the employed there will be nothing free about it.

It is not free. Every man woman and child will have to buy health care, before they can even eat. I hope they are ready for this. Because nothing in the world is free. Higher taxes for the middle class are inevitable. If they think for one minute the rich will be paying for them, then they are dead wrong.

A review of this data shows that DDC maintains the grassroots outreach websites for large health insurance companies, but also for big tobacco and Koch Industries:

    – phillipmorrisusaactioncenter.org (Altria)

    – tobaccoissues.com (Altria)

    – kochpac.com (Koch Industries)

    – aetnavotes.com (Aetna)

    – healthactionnetwork.org (WellPoint)

    – humanapartners.com (Humana)

    – ahipadvocacy.org (AHIP)

DDC is a firm that promises “high impact” outreach programs to not only influence the grassroots, but “change attitudes for the long term.” As the Washington Post explains, DDC pays over 500 contract workers to “spend much of their day telephoning people around the country and asking them to sign letters to Congress that press for legislation.” The firm helped orchestrate “grassroots” support for President Bush’s push to privatize Social Security, and helped manage online efforts for the right-wing attack group Freedom’s Watch. DDC is headed by B.R. McConnon, a former associate of Jack Abramoff’s lobbying partners, and a former employee of the Koch-funded astroturf organization known as Citizens for a Sound Economy.

Citizens for a Sound Economy — which has also received funds from private health insurers in the past and played a critical astroturf role in killing reform under Clinton — eventually split, with one wing forming Americans for Prosperity in 2003, and another forming FreedomWorks in 2004. Both organizations, which are still funded by the Koch Industries empire, were instrumental in organizing the anti-Obama tea party protests, and have been spreading misinformation and anger at the current health reform effort. Americans for Prosperity’s anti-health reform front group, Patients United, has hosted speakers comparing the House health reform bill to the Holocaust.

Nothing is free. Someone always pays for what ever is free. We will pay more in taxes to fund Obama care.

First of all, he said he's committed to making it deficit and tax neutral. And that it will pay for itself with premiums. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Secondly, the estimate is $900 Billion over TEN years. Not "Trillions and billions of dollars".

And, lastly, the two wars that Bush started have cost over $900 Billion, and we haven't PAID for those yet either. I'm not paying higher taxes for THOSE.

Estimates are your taxes will go up to equal your current insurance premiums.

But you can't change or fire them like you can your insuror.

Its free to you because you are probably under 18, never had to work to survive, and have no clue what you are talking about. Grow up.
