I listened to President Obama's speech and though that he was right on target. Think of it this way, how much does regulation hamper sports like football or the olympic games? A football team wins by playing a good game of ball,not by cheating, and the referees and rulebooks are there to make sure everyone plays fair.

Regulation is intended to keep the playing field level so that businesses can thrive when competing within the rules, and consumers are protected from unscrupulous practices. The free market also needs a good rulebook and referees to keep things honest.

Who thunk "I worship the Anarcho-Crapitalist GOD. The markets can do no wrong!"?

Regulations against fraud and theft are no problem, it's when regulations start hampering the market that it becomes a problem, and it's no longer a free market.

Name one free enterprise completely free of governemental oversight and law that has NOT harmed humans.
