I actually think that the boy does look very much like Peter Robinson insomuch that he has similar eyes, nose and cheekbones. His chin as AB McK suggests looks slightly less strong as Peter Robinson’s in the later photograph. Perhaps this is due to the fact that he is much younger in the photograph and his face therefore still developing? It has to be said that Robinson has always generally looked considerably younger than his actual age so it could be him. You should contact Victor Patterson and ask him whether he believes that the boy is Peter Robinson. If you actually look at his profile, without the chin he has the same look as the older Robinson and given the fact that Robinson has known Ian Paisley since he was a schoolboy it could be him. Interesting picture and question by the way.

There was a debate about this recently in the letters pages of the Daily Telegraph. Possibly some research (or even a polite enquiry) in that direction might help you.
