why are feminists OK with women posting stripping videos online YET judge men who watch them?

I know a lot of feminists, they know I watch this stuff (my permanent gf is one of those feminists). They have never judged me for this. Quite a few of them frequent Chippendale's (not sure how to spell it-- the famous male stripping house--).

I would guess that non-feminist women are more likely to have problems with this, because feminists tend to be much more comfortable with sex. The female form is a beautiful and powerful thing-(what else could cause me to shell out large sums of money, just to look, for a few minutes?) What feminist would denounce a man -who is not being an @ss about it- for acknowledging this?

I hope this isn't too off-topic, but I found john_von_lof's answer interesting, if difficult to believe.

My experience has been that many women who believe in equality of opportunity for all regardless of gender refuse to call themselves feminists precisely because politically correct feminism is extremely uncomfortable with sex, with many leading feminists demonizing men as rapists by nature and proclaiming heterosexuality the root of all oppression.

Most politically correct feminists would not be okay with women posting stripping videos online because they presume that men who watch these videos will commit rape as a result, when otherwise they might not rape.

Because the core of feminism is sexism. Women good, men bad. I'm not sure what you saw or experienced for this question, but when it comes down to it, feminism is female sexism, no matter how they try to dress it up. There are no real principles. Getting you to jump from one foot to the other is their goal, not achievement of any standard.

Why lie?

It's simply not true that "feminists" in general are OK with women posting strip vids, or that we negatively judge men who watch them. For most feminists, it's quite the reverse.

I don't think much of women who post strip-vids; but can hardly find cause to blame the men who watch what someone else has posted.

I don't judge either one. I do what I want, and let other people do the same.

I didn't know it was necessarily the fems doing the postings. I thought that if there were Lez.that they liked to watch too

Just a guess but I think they probably say when a women posts stripping videos it's for their own empowerment and sexuality and when a man watches these videos they're watching her as an object to be had.

I judge both. And find them both wanting.
